1. What is you job experiences and professional affiliations?
I am formally trained in Art Restoration, Art History, and
Visual Arts. I spent two years working as a Teaching Assistant at the
School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where I studied Modern and Contemporary
Art. I have been teaching Visual Arts at the High School level for over a year now.
2. Where did you obtain your undergraduate and graduate degrees?
I attended Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, where I received
a dual-bachelors degree in Art History and Anthropology. I have two
Master’s Degrees; the first is from the Art Institute of Chicago in Modern and
Contemporary Art History, Theory, and Criticism, and the second is from New
York University in Art Education (K-12).
3. Which country did you come from?
I was born and raised in the United States along the Ohio River outside
4. What are your hobbies and passion?
I have two passions in life: teaching art and creating art! My hobbies include
drawing, painting, photography, cooking, and spending time with my dog, Otis!
5. Why did you choose to work at IHS-HS?
The staff at IHS-HS is committed to teaching, and the students are dedicated
to learning. The students and staff at IHS-HS are constant source of inspiration
for me! I feel honored to be part of this wonderful community.
